Anthony Msowoya
FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC
Co-Founder, Provider
Anthony’s approach to care is rooted in compassion, collaboration, and respect. He believes in treating the whole person by recognizing the important connection between physical and emotional health. By listening first, he ensures every patient feels understood, valued, and supported. Treatment plans are created together with patients, not for them, with a strong focus on person-centered care, education, and evidence-based guidance that empowers individuals and families throughout their journey.
Anthony is a dual-board certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with nearly 15 years of experience providing comprehensive mental health care. His clinical expertise includes ADHD, major depression, anxiety disorders, menopausal mood disorders, sports psychiatry, and postpartum depression. He also brings nearly five years of experience in hormone replacement therapy and weight loss through the sister clinic, Karibu Family Care, which he co-founded. He is known for his warm, personable style that helps foster trust, comfort, and lasting healing.
Born and raised in Tanzania for the first 20 years of his life, Anthony’s upbringing deeply shaped his values and perspective. He is a devoted believer in Jesus Christ, grounding both his life and his care in love, service, and compassion. Outside of work, he enjoys spending quality time with his wife and their two daughters, attending music concerts together that range from country and classic rock to R&B and Afro-music. He also loves country rodeos and dancing with family and friends, and he places a high value on faith, family, community, and creating meaningful memories with those he loves.
